Purple wheat is part of ancient grain family. It has been almost forgotten and only recently gained some popularity again. The name comes from a beautiful purple colour. which is from anthocyanins. Purple wheat has a distinct nutty flavor and contains high amount of antioxidants, including iron, potassium, and zinc. In this bread we use 50% purple wheat and 50% wheat flour. All ingerdients are organic.
